Did you know you can redirect your Arizona state tax dollars to support youth in foster care — without giving more than you already owe?
Phonetic Spit is a Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization (QFCO) certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue. This means your donation may qualify for a dollar-for-dollar Arizona state tax credit while directly supporting youth in foster care, group homes, and other system-impacted settings.
Your gift helps young people find, develop, and publicly share their voices through creative writing, spoken word, and literacy-based arts programming.
What Is the Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit?
The Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit allows taxpayers to redirect a portion of their state income taxes to certified nonprofits serving children in foster care.
Instead of your tax dollars going only to the state, you can choose to support Phonetic Spit — and ensure those funds are used for relationship-centered, trauma-informed arts programming for youth navigating complex life experiences.
This is not a deduction — it is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against what you owe the state.

How Your Tax Credit Supports Youth
